The Punchline Shop

The Punchline Shop is a small business specializing in handmade wire jewelry that donates its profits to BLM organizations. I conceptualized and shaped their branding identity through a newly designed logo that encapsulates the business’ uniqueness and noble mission. The logo was designed to symbolize the handmade essence of their products. The overlapping circles represent the rings of wire used in crafting their jewelry and the intertwined letters represent a continuous line of wire, emphasizing the interconnectedness of their community.
The circular design, not only reflects the nature of their craft, but also was chosen to perfectly fit an Instagram profile picture, given that their business is exclusively based on Instagram. It was key to keep the logo simple as they wanted to transfer the design to a stamp for branding needs. I later developed their complete color palette and business card, which also served as an area to write personalized thank-you messages to their customers sent with each order. Every element, from the symbolism in the logo to the hand-drawn typography, was carefully crafted to resonate with the brand's ethos and add to their impactful identity.
